Where We Call Home | December 2025
To commence my year-long artist residency with the prestigious University Circle Inc., community partners, donors, and loved ones alike all celebrated as we unveiled my solo exhibition, “Where We Call Home,” at the Magnolia House.
This collection of 25 images articulates the stories, truths, empathy, and emotional resonance hidden within candid, everyday moments. My artistry is founded upon the belief that Street Photography can affirm everyday life as a forum for lyrical poetry. Through craft, care, and focused attention, we become artisans of the human element.
Thematically, one may encounter notes of individuality, community, awe, love, passion, and contemplation across these frames. While they certainly draw on universal themes, this collection generates a soulful movement that allows each viewer a special encounter with every image.
Art, education, the humanities, and an openness towards what the great Emily Dickinson once called “the ecstatic experience” have transformed my life and given me purpose.
Below are some photographs from opening night, followed by the collection itself.
