University Circle | Cleveland Print Room

Summer, 2023

For the second year in a row, I had the blessing of working with University Circle and the Cleveland Print Room to design and lead another set of Photography programs for Circle Explorers!

We had activities centered around Design, Storytelling, and Arts & Culture for six weeks.

These activities helped students learn fundamental aspects of visual arts, explore dimensions of their creativity, and build friendships with one another.

It was a joy to see so many returning faces from last year, as well as new ones, many of whom had their first interactions with a non-smartphone camera. The magic of Instant film knows no boundaries!

It was amazing to see them grow in their confidence and creativity as the weeks went on, and it was surreal for me to learn just as much from them as they did from me.
